Alphia Caudill

Alphia Caudill, 88, of Middletown, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 3rd, 2024. She was born on August 27th, 1935, in Farler, Kentucky to Robert and Sallie (Caudill) Hamilton.

Alphia and her husband moved to Middletown in 1954. She was a homemaker for her family and enjoyed gardening, canning, and freezing veggies from the garden, and quilting. She loved nothing more than being surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Alphia was a devoted member of Yankee Road First Church of God and Poasttown First Church of God for 55 years.

She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years; Forrester Caudill, four children, Evelyn Day, Angela Beatty (Dennis), Steve Caudill (Diana), and Chris Caudill, eight grandchildren, Sean (Lyndsie) Gibbs, Bryan Shepherd, Amanda (Matt) Witt, Ashleigh (Luke) Toy, Krystle Beatty, Andrea Jutte, Ridge Beatty, and Robbie Beatty, eight great-grandchildren, Gracie Shepherd, Ian Witt, Layne Witt, Lynsey Witt, Connor Gibbs, Jack Toy, and Shelby Jutte, three brothers, Bob Hamilton, Lonnie (Marsha) Hamilton, and Justin (Adaline) Hamilton. Alphia is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Ona Cornett, five brothers, Rollie, Matt, Dan, Earl, Leon, and Russel Hamilton.

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 8th, 2024, 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Ave., Middletown, OH. The service will follow the visitation, starting at 1:00 PM with Pastor Kenny Brewer as the officiant. Burial will follow at Woodside Cemetery.
